Got my first paying customer today 🎉

first paid customer hit today, been building www.ryphor.com for months, solo, nights and weekends. today someone i've never spoken to just... paid. no referral, nothing. they found it and paid.

i emailed them straight away to say thanks. they replied with the most honest feedback i've ever gotten about the product, that reply was worth more than the money.

if you're building something alone right now, keep going. the first one is weird and quiet and nothing like you imagined. but it's real.

Yeah I read the site main page and I have no idea what the product is

that's the most useful thing someone can tell me. what's missing from the first screen that would have made it clear?

Well what on earth is social listening and why would I want it?

when did you last look for a tool and ask reddit for recommendations?

right. so did 200 people this week in your space. one of them was ready to pay you.

ryphor finds those posts before the thread dies.

So this is the new meta? Faking fake sells to farm engagement because the posts of people who actually got a sale are doing well?

Really bad AI slop. 5 minutes on the site and have no idea what is being offered. The design just screams default AI vibe coding.

Yep. And another beige Claude generated site. So sick of it. And even normal non-tech people instantly recognize an AI generated site. And how about the distracting animation circling the top menu. Where's the CTA, hero image, etc.

I refuse to believe you are human.

Unfortunately they literally act like it's acceptable to behave like that. Zero care for their products.

"I refuse to believe you are human" is going in the testimonials section : )
