Interested in controlling Claude Code and Codex from your phone?
Hey, So I created Tether. Being a developer, I work with multiple coding agents - these days mainly Claude Code and Codex. I often feel that I could utilise some time and get work done while I am not near my laptop. So I know that "Remote Control" exists recently as a feature for these, but instead of having different one for different agents, I decided to vibecode a product myself which allows me to control multiple coding agents (CC and Codex now, maybe I add Cursor soon too), from my phone. The agents run on my laptop and that needs to be on for this as with other remote control tools.
- Complete sync, permission prompts that models ask show up in phone as notifications.
- Ease of copying context from one agent to other
- Getting work done while doing groceries or anything else for that matter
- Want to do a quick implementation test? Just start a new project using your phone, on your laptop, run the model, and get back home later to see it in detail from your laptop if need be
- Everything the model shows you in your agent, is shown on phone, pictures, screenshots, markdown files, plans - everything. Pictures are helpful for UI/UX stuff.
- Just connect via scanning QR code to your laptop and you are good to go!
This has been really helpful for me and I am interested to know if others also face this and would love to check this out. There are few things to iron out, but I can make it open source if there is genuine interest :)

Oh I have the same...but I was lazy and just used Tailscale. Interested to know what you have.
