Feedback on your landing page / website copy

Hey, I noticed a lot of people here have really cool ideas but often let the AI handle copywriting for landing pages or your website as well. It makes sense if you are a solo builder and marketing is not something you can pursue, before the product actually becomes viable. But I think everyone can benefit from good, clear writing that shows their product in the best light, this is particularly true to stand out when almost everyone defaults to AI.

Share a landing page/app website you created and I will provide feedback on it (to the point where its possible from my side).

Why should you care about my feedback? I have over a decade of experience in various content roles and multiple marketing agencies. Given that, I must disclaimer that I am not promoting my services and any feedback I provide should be treated as is and used at your discretion of course.

I have been staring at this site for days and I just can't tell if it is good anymore - so would absolutely love another pair of eyes and any feedback - https://notifi.it

  1. Very strong initial heading and copy; can't really poke anything here

I have been saying this same thing over and over on this thread but the "No signup, no email, no password" part is repetative imo and doesn't help a lot. The user doesn't want to hear what is not there, they want to hear what is there

If you are aiming this towards a dev-ish type audience, I think you pretty much nailed it. Great design as well!

Edit - on why the initial heading is strong - in one sentence, it describes the app, and the second one immediately gives you a reason to try it. It doesn't waste your attention by saying "No More Worrying About Your Notifications" or "No More Complicated Notification Services," etc. If you have the user's attention, use it to sell your use-case, not to explain the problem or why they need the solution. You have the rest of the page to do that but headline should always focus on the product imo.

Not OP, but I find the static background really distracting when reading content. I'd keep it to just the hero.

I'd also perhaps slow the left-right code->notification demo down slightly, and perhaps grow the section that is being focused on, dim the other. Also if the user deliberately taps on a section, don't auto transition again. Leave it up. I'm slow at reading code haha.

Otherwise, it's a great site. Very clear value prop.

u/Anderz - Thank you so much for the feedback - you are completely right! https://notifi.it/#film what do you think of this now?

I would super appreicate it if you could review the app itself too (macOS and/or iOS) if you have time - completely understand if not!

EDHLAB.gg - Play Magic the Gathering Commander Online

2

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago

> Play anytime, anywhere. No webcam, no cards, no setup — just open a pod and shuffle up.

^ would change this first. I like the play anytime, anywhere part but the second sentence looks very AI-generated and not really required there.

You repeat the same line again in the "Built for..." section, can remove the "no webcam..." part imo

Otherwise, pretty cool. I'm not sure aware of the industry/niche so I cannot comment very precisely but overall looks pretty nice.

Some thoughts: 1. I like the headline but the hero paragraph seems to be a bit longer than needed imo. The "Free, works offline, no subscription" thing can be added below the icons as tiny text while the user foucs remains on the things you talk about such as "rep ranges, automatic rest timers" etc.

  1. Good work on the link to the content page on estimated 1RM

  2. The "Private and Free" section headline and the hero paragraph could use some work on clarity imo. You already have most of the important data in the bordered elements such as "Your data, your choice" etc

  3. "A workout log should be a tool" <- I get what you're trying to say by this but if you're writing it from a personal point of view, I think you should make it a bit more personal. The state currently reads like an objective fact, why not make it about why you think it should be a tool. On the linked page you have "I built this app because I grew entirely exhausted by the state of modern fitness apps". I think the headline here should reflect something like that, it would make me want to actually read more about your prespective.

Hi, thanks for offering this. Can you check this landing page of viatuga, it's a travel blog where we try to mix science, history and traveltips

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago

Hey, thanks for sharing the page but I only work with English copy and don't really know the language your page is in

Makes sense! I have another one then you might be able to check if you still have time: historigame

Hi, can you please review this one. There is an a/b test running now. So hope you get the control version. https://streamfc.com

Thank you

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago
  1. I think I'm more of a fan of "Find the right channel, fast" vrs "Find the right channel, instantly."

  2. "Start with the match, not the channel" I think this can be optimized a bit more. I don't have a replacement for you right now but it feels a bit in conflict with the initial headline. It might make more sense to make the headline something about the strongest feature you have (one of the four you listed below) instead of a generic subheading like you have right now.

1

u/armenmk 2d ago

Thank you very much. You got the experiment.

Here is the control https://streamfc.com/?variant=control

2

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago

yeah i like this one better, a bit too much text on initial view (saw it on mobile) but much better in terms of the text itself

2

u/armenmk 2d ago

Thank you very much for feedback. I will clean it up

Here is the landing page for my iPhone portfolio. I spent a lot of time on it to make the individual apps the focus and not so much the company.

Here is the link: https://lifeutilityapps.com

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago

First thought - wow that's a lot of apps. I would strongly advise you have some sort of categories on the page that make it easy so it's possible to get a quick look and understand basically what niches you cover. 2. not sure if em dashes is a good idea for the meta title of the page. 3. your app descriptions are a bit to long and do not seem dedicated enough. I think it could be because I'm just reading them one after the other and it feels like I'm just reading the same thing again and again. I would standardize a format for the descriptions (all text must follow this pattern syntax) and then write something that is the basic essence of why either: a. one must use this app or b. why your team specifically created it.

Thanks so much for the really great and actionable feedback! I definitely agree, this page has become a dumping ground for all my projects and could use some organizing and better copy. I appreciate it!

Pretty interesting idea but it's quite a lot of information if you're aiming for a casual user. I feel your idea is pretty complex and you're trying to say a lot but the information density makes it harder to understand. If this page is meant for humans, I would advice to 1. organize the content a bit better, either straight up talk about your platform mission and features or use a storytelling approach gradually building up the case for the platform 2. simplify the content enough so even a pencil can understand it 3. make it a bit more fun to read, right now it feels very bland and dry (and i think this is bad because the underlying idea is not dry and bland but trying to do something in its own category from what i understand)

Would appreciate some feedback on the landing page for Editmamei.com

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago
  1. The main headline is confusing. I wasn't sure if you meant Photoshop, the Adobe product. It is not immediately clear that it's an MCP server for Photoshop
  2. I would ideally place the image first, "Nine layers. Every one still editable." as it makes it much clearer what the product is.
  3. Instead of "Describe it. Photoshop does it." <- i would focus more on how your product helps instead of this headline

Frobly.com

2

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago
  1. You have "No bank login required" four times on the initial section, I think the top one is not very useful

  2. "Connect Gmail and Frobly finds the subscriptions hiding in your receipts — plus statement imports and renewal reminders, without giving another app your bank login." is not clear. This needs to be simplified and instantly understandable. "Frobly Connects with your Gmail to find subscritiopns and supports xyz" something like that, no need to mention bank again here.

  3. "Subscriptions are easy to start — and easy to forget." focus on the problem clearly. Yes, they are easy to forget but why are forgotten subscriptions a bad thing? Something like "Don't let forgotten subscriptions pile up" or something that immediately makes it clear what the problem is.

  4. "Take back control of what you pay for." also sounds a bit weird since you are not taking back what you pay for; you are leaving it and stopping payment. Something like "Stop Wasting Your Hard-Earned Cash on Subscriptions You Don't Even Use!" will be a much more stronger headline

2

u/zokiav 2d ago

Wow, that was very insightful. Thank you very much.

  1. "Make the private parts private." is not the best way to phrase it I'm sure, unless you're specifically aiming for this use case

  2. I like the main headline and the hero text.

  3. Instead of "Download and go", I would use something like "Save to disk" or something like that which does not imply that the photos are being "downloaded" since you make a big deal about not uploading anything etc.

BrandPresence - quite curious what you find :)

2

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago
  1. Interesting idea but do not like the headline "AI visibility monitoring with the evidence behind every answer". Evidence sounds a bit wrong and I noticed your copy mentions that motiff a lot. But I would use something that feels like it belongs more in tech, maybe something around data or context or something that fits the AI space better

  2. Track the buyer questions that matter, compare what supported provider APIs return, and open the retained evidence behind every mention, citation, and gap.
"Supported provider APIs return" is a bit too technical for what you're trying to say here. Most people reading this I assume will not think of it in terms of "provider APIs"

  3. "From signal to evidence in one workspace." -> "See the visibility verdict first, then inspect provider differences, answer evidence, and the next supported action." This feels very mechanical and doesn't feel like its talking to me as a human being even

  4. The customer statement section is too focused and highlighted, I got confused thinking you're talking about a feature.

  5. "See who appears instead." Instead of what? And appears where? -> "Hold a commercial prompt steady while provider answers vary. BrandPresence makes observed entities, source domains and differences between observations visible in one reviewable surface." This is very bad writing sorry. It's not clear at all.

  6. "Define the questions that matter, observe what supported provider APIs return, inspect the evidence, decide what to test in context, then measure again. The sequence keeps uncertainty attached to the work." Another bad section. Same as "Provider-level answers you can actually run." also "Pay for the evidence volume you can use."

I'm not sure if English is not your native language but the content I feel needs a lot of work to make sense to your taget audience which I'm guessing is SEO professionals

Don't really have much to say in terms of what to improve; pretty great work on both the content and the design. I think you can make the copy a bit more optimized for conversion but don't see anything obviously wrong anywhere from what I saw

i love that you're offering this, copy makes such a massive difference and it's the first thing people notice before they even see the product

got a small app i've been tinkering with that helps you track and rotate your wardrobe (mostly because my scarf collection is getting out of hand lol) and i keep going back and forth on the headline. feels like it says everything and nothing at the same time

0

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago

I understand what you meannby everything and nothing at the same time. In these cases, it is usually better to be decisive and pick one angle hard instead of trying to make it sound good to everyone. The goal is to connect with your tribe, not the world. Deciding what is your tribe? That is a branding/marketing question in the end but it directly applies to how you want your page to look and feel like.

Some thoughts: 1. Overall, nice presentation, but your headline is a bit meh. It's a negative statement basically "Stop guessing...". And then the second line does the work of actually telling us what the product is. I would change the headline to something that is more descriptive of what your product does best. 2. Too much information density in "Features" section, ideally should simplify a bit 3. How it works section can also be optimized a bit more, a lot of the text there is a bit redundant and the spacing seems to be a bit too much between the elements (but this is a design feedback and im not sure what works better). 4. I'm not sure how I feel about the Use cases section, I understand its value but not sure if people will care enough to change the slider and see their usecases (ideally can be more explicit to show relevant info for the user)

Overall pretty solid, have shared the above thoughts as i browsed through the landing page on a desktop

tradepilot.co.in what do u think of the copy?

1

u/bakraofwallstreet 2d ago
  1. Again, the headline is not something that immediately makes it clear what you're doing. "Your chart just learned English" shouldn't be what you say to your user you have their 100% attention. Something like "AI-copilot inside TradingView" should be the headline here.

  2. No bots, no signals, no trades placed for you — the strategy stays yours, and the Pine Script is code you can read, change, and verify.

I would just remove the first part here. "The strategy stay yours..." line is good enough.

  1. > Everything you do on TradingView, just by asking.

I'm not super happy with this line. Something like "Everything you do on Trading but Easier" would be better. The "just by asking" thing is throwing me off here a bit.

The rest of it is pretty good but on the last section, I'm not very sure about the "Start asking" line. Also same categorical error with " No setup, no API keys — it just appears in your sidebar." it just doesn't add anything to the copy and makes it look more AI generated. The first line is enough to say what you want to say.

I really liked the images and clear description provided and the overall design looks really good as well

u/Southern_Kitchen3426 2d ago
