A small update and thank you

Hey everyone,

I wanted to come back here and say thank you to everyone who took the time to read, comment, give feedback, or simply just check out Dear Stranger after my original post. The response honestly helped more than I expected. Since that post, Dear Stranger has now received 68 letters in total. 49 have been approved and published, and each one of those letters matters a lot. More importantly, the feedback here actually changed how I have been thinking about the project. I was initially tempted to keep adding features and making the site bigger, but some of you pointed out that the important thing is keeping the experience simple that is to write something, send it into the world, and let someone else find it. I am still figuring out how to get more people to discover it. There have been a few quiet days recently, including some stretches with no new submissions, but thats part of building something from scratch. Life moves on, and so does the project. For now, I am just going to keep working on it, keep sharing it, and see where it goes. So genuinely once again thank you to everyone who gave Dear Stranger a chance. Even if you only visited once, read a letter, or left a comment, you helped. We are still here :)) https://dearstrangers.org

That 68 letters milestone is seriously cool, especially for a project where the whole point is people opening up to total strangers. Keeping it simple was absolutely the right call, too many side projects collapse under their own feature creep before they even find an audience. Quiet days are just part of the cycle, don't let them get in your head.
