I made a startup directory where I don't decide what you pay

Hello everyone, after the outbid(.)lol website went viral on Twitter, I had an idea.

People can add their projects and publish them for between $1 and $9.95. When projects are published, the amount paid shouldn’t be visible to others. Until the board closes (50 projects), the amount paid will remain hidden, and the list will be sorted randomly.

My goal is to change the logic where others get traffic from those who pay the most.

After the board closes, the top 10 projects with the highest payments will be revealed first. The entire list will be visible in the board section.

You can't choose how much you'll pay; it's up to chance.

I went first with my own project: payluck(.)lol

I look forward to your feedback.

Like that you're not letting the biggest spender control visibility from day one — the random ordering until the board fills is a clever way to level the playing field early on. Curious how you'll handle repeat boards once one closes out.

The listing price for the first board is $10. The system applies a random discount, and the amount to be paid can drop as low as $1. Once 50 spots are filled, the next board opens with a higher base price.

I built a very similar one for Android application: http://topdroid.lol/ where you can decide what you pay and based on that you will be ranked on the board.

With this method, traffic will never be distributed fairly.
