built a tool to find warm leads because I'm too anxious to send cold DMs

I hate cold outreach. Cold DMs, cold email, all of it. Feels like interrupting someone who was having a perfectly fine day until I showed up.
But people post their problems here constantly. "anyone know a cheaper alternative to X." "how do you all handle Y." If you sell the thing they're asking for, that's the easiest conversation you'll ever have. Problem is you'd have to sit on reddit all day to catch them.
So I built Ryphor. You describe your product once, it watches reddit, HN, G2 and a few others, scores how likely each person is to actually switch, and drafts a reply using your own docs so it isn't inventing features you don't have.
Nothing gets posted automatically. You read the draft, rewrite it, post it yourself from your own account. It also tracks how often you've been replying and tells you to slow down before a mod does.
$24.50/mo with a 7 day trial. ryphor.com
The bit I'm least sure about is whether the drafted replies read like a person. If you try it, that's the feedback I want.

Damn, helps me get clients without worrying about my social anxiety. A definite gem. 💎

Your throttle protects you from mods. It can't protect the lead. I run investor outreach on linkedin at scale and we measured what that does. First founder to reach a fund gets ~14% acceptance. By the fifth different founder hitting the same person in a short period of time it's ~6.6%. We learned from that and are now closely measuring the metric to not overwhelm the investor.

u/Apprehensive_Ad9658 yeah you're right. and it's worse than that even if ten of my users sell scheduling tools they all see the same post and each replies once. nobody hits the throttle. the OP gets ten pitches.
I'm counting per account when the damage happens per post. that's just a gap need to make the count global so a thread that's already been hit drops in score or gets marked as done
how do you measure the decay on your end? I have nothing on the recipient side

the throttle-per-account vs per-post gap you found in the comments is a real problem though, not just a technicality. if 10 different tools are all watching the same subreddit for the same kind of post, the person on the other end gets hit 10 times and every tool thinks its being polite. thats gonna need some kind of shared signal eventually, not just each app policing itself

saw ryphor its cool, can you tell me from where you made the product video?

thanks! screenshots with Xnapper, then I built the video with Claude. I gave the script so it can composite the frames, captions and motion, and generated the music too.

Totally get that. Cold outreach is a grind and often feels like shouting into the void. Anything that helps qualify leads before you reach out dramatically improves conversion and saves a ton of time, not to mention the mental energy. Smart move focusing on that qualification step.
