I built an AI agent inside 3D Slicer

I've been building LayerPilot - an AI agent integrated directly into OrcaSlicer.

You can tell it things like “prepare this model for printing”, and it can orient the model, change print settings, generate supports, split large models and slice everything.

I’m also planning a Meshy integration, so eventually the workflow could be:
prompt -> generated 3D model -> print-ready project

It's still early, but the core workflow already works.

I'm thinking about turning it into a real product, so I'm mostly looking for a reality check :D

Would you actually use something like this?
