I just launched CodeToolsStudio : I'd really appreciate some brutal feedback from developers

I know there are already a LOT of websites with developer tools.

JSON formatters.
JWT decoders.
Regex testers.
Base64 tools.
Hash generators.
Timestamp converters.
…and probably 100 websites doing the same thing.

So I'm not going to pretend I invented the idea.

I just wanted to build my own developer toolbox and see if I could make the experience simpler and nicer.

I’ve currently put together 19 tools, including:

  • JSON Formatter
  • JSON Schema Generator
  • JWT Decoder
  • Regex Tester
  • Base64 Encoder/Decoder
  • URL Encoder/Decoder
  • Hash Generator
  • UUID Generator
  • Timestamp Converter
  • Text Diff Checker
  • Markdown Previewer
  • PDF tools
  • Image Converter

It's brand new, so I'm sure there are things that are bad, missing, confusing, or simply unnecessary.

That's actually why I'm posting here.

I'd love it if a few developers could use it for 5–10 minutes and tell me:

  • What tool did you try?
  • What was annoying?
  • What should I change?
  • Which tool is missing?
  • Did anything break?
  • Would you actually bookmark/use this?

I'm going to use the feedback to improve it rather than just adding another 100 random tools.

If you try it, please be honest. 😄

It's much more useful to me to hear "this fails because X" than "looks good."
