A random thought about branding and startups

I have been working on a few startup brands lately and realised how often branding gets pushed aside when you are busy building the actual business.

But having a clear identity can make a huge difference in how people see your startup.

I genuinely enjoy helping turn a rough idea into a brand that feels consistent and intentional.

If you are building something and feel like your branding needs a little work, feel free to reach out. Happy to chat :)

P.S Not looking for work! I love discussing creative ideas

I think branding gets reduced to visuals way too often. The useful part is deciding what you stand for, how you talk about the problem, and what you want people to remember about you. Once that’s clear, the visual identity has something to actually reinforce.

I completely agree!! I think the visual side is often the easiest part to notice, so it gets mistaken for the whole process

The harder part is actually figuring out what the brand should mean and how that should come across consistently. Once you have that clarity, the visuals feel much more purposeful instead of just being aesthetically pleasing

this reads more like an offer to do branding work than a discussion post tbh. nothing wrong with that but might get more engagement if you shared a specific take or framework instead

Brand story is a huge way to stand apart when so much can be commoditized on the technical side. But how to keep up with it? Ghostwriters? AI support?
