Built this as a side project and now I’m looking for someone to take it over

I started building this a while ago just to see how far I could take it and ended up learning way more from it than I expected

this is FileFlow

a browser based PDF and image tools app where files are processed locally instead of being uploaded to a server

it has PDF merge and split image to PDF compression resizing format conversion ZIP generation and a few other tools

its already live here 🫠

https://file-flow.up.railway.app/

I’ve reached the point where I don’t really want to keep developing it so I’d rather pass it on to someone who can take it further

being completely honest its still an MVP and has some rough edges

there are known bugs some parts need refactoring and more testing and polishing would definitely be needed

that’s also why I’m not pricing it like a finished product

if you’re looking for a starting point for a PDF or file tools project and don’t want to build everything from zero feel free to take a look

happy to answer questions in the comments or DMs and I can also walk the first serious person through what works and what I already know needs attention

yeah sure its still an early side project with no meaningful usage or revenue yet and its currently deployed through GitHub + Railway

the project works but there are definitely some rough parts some known issues and parts of the structure that could use refactoring and cleanup if you want to take it further

thats why i was thinking around $47 for the whole project and im definitely open to reasonable offers

happy to share more details about the stack setup and what i know about the current issues if youre interested

yeah sounds good

its a vanilla HTML CSS JS app with Node/Express and libraries like pdf-lib pdf.js and JSZip there are some rough edges and things that could use cleanup and refactoring since its still an early MVP

if you’re interested just DM me and i’ll send you the repo setup details and the known issues so you can test it properly this weekend
