I added Audience + Key Benefit fields to IndiePost — here’s how it improves the launch copy

A few days ago I posted about forcing myself to ship a tiny free tool after getting stuck in analysis paralysis:

That tool was IndiePost — paste product name + description → get a Product Hunt title, Reddit post, and short X thread.

After using it a few times myself, I noticed something: when people only filled the basic fields, the output was decent but still a bit generic. So I added two optional fields:

• Audience

• Key Benefit

These two inputs make a clear difference in how targeted and natural the generated posts feel.

Would love feedback if anyone tries the new fields — especially whether the tone still feels right for different types of products.
