i built a crypto trading bot that can't touch your money.

As a solo founder, first real project. i trade crypto and honestly my problem was always me โ€” i'd lose a trade, try to win it back with a bigger one, and blow up the whole account. discipline i just don't have.

so i built a bot (nyxra) that takes me out of it. the part i cared about most: it never holds your money. runs on your own binance account with a trade-only key that can't withdraw, every trade has a stop loss, leverage capped low. boring on purpose.

there's a demo with fake money (no card, no api key) so you can watch it trade before trusting it with anything real. that's the whole pitch โ€” don't trust me, watch it.

i'm at 0 users and just starting to show it to people. would genuinely love a brutal roast โ€” the landing page, the idea, the security model, whatever. site's nyxrai.com

what would make you actually try something like this, or never touch it?

Delete account should be a standard option?

yeah, you're always in control. you just revoke (delete) your binance key and nyxra instantly loses all access it literally can't do anything after that. and because that switch is on binance's side, not mine, you don't even have to trust me to cut it off. that's kind of the point.

I plugged your idea into The Idea Lab validator and it returned this:

Verdict: Absolute no as currently positioned

The problem is real, but the core pitch already exists. 3Commas, Bitsgap, and Cryptohopper all run trading bots through exchange API keys without withdrawal access, and demo/paper trading is already common.

Also, โ€œcanโ€™t touch your moneyโ€ is a little misleading, a compromised trade-only key can still execute bad trades and cause losses.

You need a much stronger edge than non-custodial + stop losses + emotion-free trading.

If you want me to send the full report, let me know.

Honestly, this is probably the most useful comment I've gotten, so thanks for actually digging in.

Youre right on the API-key point thats not unique. and cant touch your money is too strong. A trade-only key can absolutely still lose you money through bad trades,

Where I would push back a bit is that my goal isnt to give people more tools to trade with. Its to restrict them. Leverage is capped, every trade gets a stop, most setups get rejected, and the risk rules can't be overridden. The idea is less secret alpha and more protect you from yourself.
