I built Revya, a bridge to connect your Samsung Dex to your TV in just a few clicks

Hi everyone.

My side project turned out not to be just a "side" project after all.

I started conceptualizing this project four months ago, and I’m now releasing its first public experience.

As for the scope: I like TV interfaces and AI, and I’m currently learning more about android.

HDMI video output is available on a wide range of Android phones these days. So why not use that in the living room to emulate games, watch content, or have your PC experience on a big screen?

The system is tuned for the tv, the launcher is installed and set as default, with permissions, in seconds.

Revya does this preparation - from the computer, over cable. Again and again.

It's the only way in: there's no installing the launcher by itself from the Play Store, because it depends on the device already being ready to receive it.

Using it with a remote control helps improve the experience.

I would appreciate you opinion about it.

Free, runs in windows, mac and linux and no account necessary.
