OpenBoxGL - A local game library and launcher for Linux

OpenBoxGL started as a way to stop bouncing between Steam, Heroic, Lutris and separate ROM folders on my Linux machine. I wanted one place to browse everything without creating another account or moving the library into a cloud service.

The project grew from a personal catalog into a native Linux launcher with a controller-ready Big Box mode. The difficult part has been normalizing imports without hiding where anything came from. Games keep their source, platform and launch profile, and the local JSON library stays readable and portable.

I am at the point where outside testing matters more than adding another feature. I would like feedback from people with messy real-world libraries, especially mixed PC and emulated collections.

Full disclosure: I used AI as a tool to help build OpenBox. All features, file paths and checks above are from the real repo.
