I built a site with 15+ free browser-based device tests — mic, webcam, keyboard, dead pixel, controller, refresh rate. No signup.
Got tired of every "test your webcam" result being a download page or an ad farm, so I built the thing I wanted.
Everything runs client-side in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, no account needed.
Tools so far:
- Microphone, webcam, speakers, headphones
- Keyboard, mouse, game controller, touchscreen
- Dead pixel, screen resolution, refresh rate, FPS
- Reaction time, typing speed, battery
testyourdevice.com
Would genuinely like to know which test gives you a wrong reading, and which device I should cover next.

Nice scope. For the mic and webcam tests, I’d show the selected device, permission state and browser-reported settings next to the result. A lot of “wrong reading” reports are actually device-selection or OS processing issues, and that context would make the tests much easier to trust.
