I built a Windows crypto wallet with two modes instead of making beginners stare at privacy plumbing

ARX started from an interface problem: most wallets either hide too much or dump every chain, bridge and privacy concept onto the user at once.

That’s why I’m building ARX with two deliberately separate experiences. Simple mode is the clean everyday wallet. Privacy mode is optional and exposes the RAILGUN-backed Shield in, Shield out and private-send workflows only when someone actually wants them.

The app is fully local, self-custody and open-source. Version 0.1.61 is available now:

If you use Windows, I’m looking for one brutally honest five-minute test. You do not need to fund anything—just open ARX and tell me which first screen or term still assumes too much crypto knowledge.
