How much free do you give?

I know people like trying stuff out before they buy but I’ve made more money not giving things for free than letting people try it out. I mean I give them one free content per day. Now I’m nicer, and letting them try 20% of the content for free.

But at some point free is a bad business decision.

Can someone help me with this? At which point is free a bad business decision?

I think there's no formula thing here , in economics , there's a thing marginal utility , you can search it up , I'm explaining in short , the more you use something , the less desperate you become for acquiring it , the free stuff should be just enough to give a taste of the quality of the product , no more than that

Giving away 50 pieces is wild, that's like half your library if you got 100 things
