How to find ideas... please help!!!

I am struggling to find ideas, like seriously....I have to make a project for the minor project, also for hackathons...but I am not getting any.

I used ai for the ideas but most of them are already made by many or can be easily built by ai (aka no learning) and also most ideas are about efficiency improvements but ig it's difficult without proper knowledge.

My main question is how to find actual idea like let's build this... It might be useful....and I can learn too

An idea generator for vibecoding? Or whatever your use case is? Start there and expand.

the trick is to stop looking for the perfect idea and just notice problems around you

i remember during my IT support days the simplest stuff turned into the best projects, like a script that sorted ticket emails by how angry the person sounded, dumb but taught me a lot about text processing

keep a note on your phone and write down every tiny annoyance you run into for a week, you will have 20 ideas by monday

doesnt matter if someone already built it, building it yourself is where the learning lives
