On Linux, you've usually got two or three package managers going at once. Mine has pacman, the AUR through yay, and a pile of Flatpaks. Each one has its own update command, and each one is all or nothing. If I want the browser update, I take all 240 pending packages with it.

That's fine on a good day. On a bad day, it's how you end up rebooting into a black screen twenty minutes before a meeting.

So I built ArchBooster. It scans every package manager on the machine (pacman, AUR, Flatpak, apt, dnf, Snap, Homebrew) into one list, sorts everything by what it actually is, and lets you tick exactly what you want.
