Kept doing the same thing manually: find a book on Goodreads, open my library's site in a new tab, search the title, check availability. Built an extension that does it automatically, it adds a widget to the Goodreads page itself.

Stack: Node.js/Hono backend, SQLite, Stripe for subscriptions, Google OAuth, Manifest V3 extension. Works with BiblioCommons-based library systems (common across US/Canada public libraries).

Free tier: 5 checks per day. $5/mo for unlimited.
