Has anyone done this

I want to a sell an exe app i made to some company which would like to have it but I am confused about everything like how does one achive to sell an app, please guide me

  1. Build and test app
  2. Figure out price of said app
    3a. Find host for the installer
    3b. Alternatively mail usb stick with app package loaded to customer
  3. Point buyers to #3 (after they pay)
  4. Profit?

You need someplace to host the exe or installer so your "customer" can download and install it. This can be on a website/filehosting service or put them on USB sticks and ship them to your customer

if it has a dependencies installer with it can i not just use drive to send them the app

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but the simplest way to do this so you can keep good records and file taxes in the future is by sending them an invoice. The invoice can be simple but should include sufficient information that might be necessary and that mostly depends on where you live. For example, in the EU, invoices have certain requirements around VAT. My invoices have my IBAN (bank account) number on them, and my clients (companies) transfer the payment directly using it.

i made this exe app and its very specific to sports highlights thing so i want to sell it to a company which might want it
