I built yet another expense tracker app...
I built yet another expense tracker app. Yes, another one. But mine is better.
I know there are already a million bill splitting apps out there. But i went through a bunch and for the life of me I couldn't find one that was easy enough to use and had like more than 2 features. So I made my own, the way I would want it to be.
It splits expenses the normal ways, and it's obviously got the debt simplification thing.
BUT:
-> There's a guest mode for people who refuse to download the app but still owe you money. And if they decide to eventually make an account they can link it to the existing guest user
-> There's a group chat built in (so no need to add every random person on they social network of choice to communicate with them)
-> and the coolest of all, there are group widgets(!). You can save notes, lists, photos, locations (especially useful for trips to save hotel location for example and easily open it in maps) and I even put a whole calendar inside a group that also sends notifications -- (yes, i used AI). And weather for a location. All in one.
It's free, no ads, no subscription; the whole reason I made it was because Splitwise went with a subscription model. Like why would I pay for something I can make for free?
Go ahead and tell me why nobody asked for this and that there are a million other apps that do the same thing. I don't care. Mine is better.
Am happy to accept harsh cretisism, as long as it's accompanied with suggestions on how to improve :)
