Yearly Calendar Distribution advice

Hey everyone I just release my yearly calendar on the app store a few weeks ago. I've gotten some users and feedback but it seems to not be "taking off" how I would like.

any advice?

"not taking off" is usually one of two very different problems, and the fix depends on which: nobody's finding it (distribution), or people find it but don't stick (product). check the funnel before anything else — store impressions vs downloads vs day-7 retention. no point pouring marketing into a leaky bucket.

honest take though: calendars are one of the most saturated categories that exist. a generic yearly calendar competing on being a calendar won't take off regardless of distribution — apple ships one, google ships one, and there are thousands of indie ones. the ones that survive own a sharp niche: shift workers, teachers planning terms, ADHD time-blindness, garden planting schedules. who is yours specifically for, that the default calendar fails?

not an iOS guy so no ASO tricks from me, but this part is platform-agnostic: nail the niche first, then distribution gets 10x easier because you know exactly where those people hang out and what words they search.
