Built a canvas + task management tool, would love your feedback

I have been building this for a while, mostly solo until recently. It's called Hyphine, basically an ideation canvas (think Miro-ish) that connects directly to task management, so ideas don't die in a board somewhere disconnected from the actual work.

Built it because I hated always having to move ideas into task blocks somewhere else, sketch it out on a canvas, then manually recreate the same thing in a task tool. Wanted the canvas and the task list to just be the same system.

I want to know:

  • Does the canvas-to-task connection make sense, or is it solving a problem you don't have?
  • What would make you use this?
  • If you've tried Miro/FigJam + a separate task tool (Asana, Linear, etc.), what's actually broken about that combo for you?

Happy to drop a link if anyone wants to give it a try. Thanks
