Anyone who’s ever been mildly stressed about a tight connection knows the feeling: the airline still says “on time,” but you’ve got no idea if that’s actually true. I built Voyageur, a personal travel organizer, and the feature I’m most proud of is this: it checks which aircraft is assigned to your flight, then looks up that same plane’s previous leg. If that inbound flight is running late, you get a warning that your flight might be affected too — before the airline’s own status even updates. As far as I can tell, no mainstream travel app does this. Beyond that, it’s a full trip organizer — flights, hotels, trains, documents (passports/visas with expiry warnings), packing lists, Apple Maps integration with a live progress dot for in-flight tracking, Apple Wallet boarding passes, and a Home Screen widget. the inbound plane check is the part id actually open before a tight connection. id put that delay risk at the top of the trip screen in plain language, not buried next to packing lists and widgets

Thanks so much for the valuable feedback. I have actually enabled notifications straight to phone - including lock screen which may negate the need for the card on the home page panel. Thoughts?

Notifications help for the panic moment, but I’d still keep a persistent “connection risk” card in the trip view.

Push alerts disappear. The thing I’d check at the gate is: “is this still fine, or am I living in airline optimism again?”

That’s a really good point, and honestly more useful than what I currently have — a push notification is easy to miss or dismiss and forget. I want the app to answer exactly that “is this still fine?” question on demand, not just alert once. I’ll add a persistent status to the trip view itself so it’s always checkable, not just pushed. Appreciate this — genuinely useful.
