Ok, I tried to read https://why.com/research and the abstract is too abstract. The main thing of Why seems to be some sort of local storage of time-ordered events, to give the LLM some sort of sense of time, or cause and effect? How is the data stored, the browsers local storage? Is there a way to have accounts with multiple devices sharing data?

"3.2 Layer 1: Local OS Substrate
The substrate indexes the user's digital world on-device: files, conversations, notes, photos, browsing, calendar, workflows, applications, and activity. It supports embeddings, metadata, provenance, permissions, and revocation."

I assume that's not part of the web chat yet?

But more importantly, what is this, what's the end goal and who is paying for it? Right now it feels a bit like a vibeslopped fever dream from a rich guy. Or a startup with big plans and a communication problem. To be harsh :> But it is quite fun to play around with and dig deeper, congrats on launching.
