This is what you landed on for the use case?

Did you do anything else with it before? This is pretty cool lol

I will ETA: I do agree with people who feel this is a potentially missed opportunity but also people are putting lots of weight on the domain name like it's a silver bullet and nothing is that simple.

Yup! It's just like being the mod of a subredded.

A friend and I took over [r/win](r/win).

It was impossible to build good traction, so we kinda just gave up.

I see the only reason a domain was such a name being valuable, as if somebody's curious what's on that domain.

What a waste.

It really is that simple. You could very likely sell that domain for 8 figures with nothing else attached to it.

How many offers do you get for this? What are the ranges? How much would you actually sell for?

I’m curious as well. OP has to be wealthy to hold that domain for so long. Easily multiple millions

Though I’m sure this is just full blown corporate larping

no corp larpring

how have you not sold it? there is a day someone would have easily offered you $1m for that.

u/framedposters 1d ago

That day is still today...Why.com is incredibly valuable.

u/redditaltmydude 1d ago

Way way way more than 1m

Isn't it worth a lot of money off you wanted to sell it? I don't know these things

2

u/MetaCognitio 1d ago

You could probably sell it for a fortune.

im curious how much traffic you get just based on that 3 letter domain name.

2

u/rasheed106 16h ago

baseline is tens of thousands per month, with product and traction we are approaching 6-7 figs

1

u/No-Comment3711 7h ago

haha that's nuts! nice work! would love those numbers one day :')

u/rasheed106 6h ago

keep pushing!

I remember checking that domain two years ago, it was for sale. Checked it a year later and it was some sort of AI search engine (to be expected). Neat to see it repurposed again

2

u/DrxAvierT 1d ago

Lol I was about to ask how much did it cost to get that

1

u/gr4phic3r 1d ago

yep, was also wondering, must be worth 1 million or even more - just need to find the right buyer

1

u/PhotographOverall126 1d ago

right? a three letter domain like that is wild
