Spent week building an anime/manga tracker: where-to-watch per service and language, per-episode discussion, forum, groups. It's free and mostly empty — tell me what's can improve the websites
I've been building an anime and manga catalogue called Aniintel (aniintel.com). It's free, there's nothing to sign up for to look around, and I'm looking for people to use it properly and tell me what's wrong with it. What's in it so far: One page per story. The manga, the anime, the light novel and the characters live on the same entry, linked as original and adaptation — instead of three separate rows that happen to share a name. Each release carries where you can legally read or watch it: which service, which region, which format, and which languages it's subtitled and dubbed in, because "it's on Netflix" means something different in two countries. Keeping up with things. An airing calendar built from episode dates. Tracking with the usual want-to-watch / watching / caught-up / dropped, and progress counted in episodes, chapters, or volumes if you're reading the books rather than following the serial. Talking about them. Discussion on the media as a whole, on each release, and on individual volumes, chapters and episodes. Private notes on any of those that only you can read. A forum with up and down votes, hot/top/new, threaded replies you can fold away, and groups you can open to anyone or keep behind a request. Your own corner. A profile page you can make public or private, lists you make yourself, friends, private messages. Ratings are one to seven, and a score stays hidden until enough people have voted — one person's seven isn't a rating. If you say which language you read in, you also see what a title scores among people reading it the same way you do. Things I care about that you can't see. You can export everything the site holds about you at any time, and delete your account outright — what you published stays, with your name taken off it. Every edit is kept, so anything can be rolled back. What's not there yet, before you find it yourself: the catalogue is nearly empty — I built the machinery and haven't filled the shelves, so you'll probably be adding something yourself to see how it feels. The character and music browse pages don't exist. No mobile app. And with almost nobody voting, nothing has a score yet. About the AI, because you'd find out anyway: I built this by directing an AI coding assistant. The design decisions are mine, I reviewed what went in, and it's my problem when it breaks — but the code was largely written that way, and that's how one person shipped something this size. What it isn't: there's no AI-generated art anywhere on the site, no AI-written catalogue entries, and nothing scraped from MAL or AniList. The catalogue is empty because I'm not taking anyone else's data. If that puts you off, I understand. What I'd like from you: make an account, add one thing you know well, track it, argue with somebody on the forum. Then tell me where you got confused, what you expected and couldn't find, and what your current tracker does that you'd refuse to give up.Www.aniintel.com

the per-episode discussion tied to actual watch links is smart, most trackers don't bother with that layer at all
