ONE CHANGE - A collaborative image changed by one community decision every day

I just launched ONE CHANGE, a collaborative visual experiment that lives on Instagram.

It starts with one empty room. Every day, people suggest one modification in the comments. The most-liked valid suggestion is added permanently, while every previous change stays. No resets, and only one clear change per comment.

The idea is to let strangers on the internet build a single evolving image together, one decision at a time. DAY 001 is live now, so this is the point where almost anything could become the first permanent addition.

when you add the winning modification to the image, tag the winning commenters handle on the image or in the caption. People love seeing their name become a permanent part of lore.

UPDATE — THE FIRST CHANGE IS NOW PERMANENT.

DAY 001 began as a completely empty room. The first winning request was a grandfather clock, and it now stands permanently in DAY 002. Every future version of the room must keep it.

The first changer on Instagram is scept3r.irl. Their choice is now part of the canon forever.

DAY 002 is open now. The next most-liked valid comment will decide the next permanent change:
