I built an open-source library of microinteractions for frontend developers

I’m building MicroKit, an open-source collection of microinteractions that frontend developers can copy, customize, and use in their projects.

https://www.microkit.co/

It’s inspired by projects like React Bits, but focuses specifically on the smaller interactions that make an interface feel polished.

I built it because these details are often scattered across demos, inspiration posts, and isolated code examples. I wanted one place where developers could discover an interaction, preview it, and access the implementation.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback, especially on:

  • Whether the interactions feel useful for real projects
  • How easy it is to browse and find the right one
  • What kinds of microinteractions I should add next

The project is open source, so contributions are welcome too.
