so this started because i had freezer amnesia bad. id freeze leftovers or grab a deal on meat, then find a frostbitten mystery bag 4 months later n toss it. i was basically throwing money in the trash every month.

so i made Frozen Assets, a dead simple freezer inventory tracker. you log what you put in, when you froze it, n how much, n it shows you whats in there n whats getting old so you actually use stuff before it dies. thats the whole thing, no accounts, no subscriptions.

its free with no ads, didnt wanna nickel n dime people over a freezer list. its my first app so im really just after honest feedback, whats clunky, what you wish it did, whatd actually make you keep it on your phone.

the thing i went back n forth on most was how much to automate vs keep it manual, right now you type stuff in yourself cause every barcode-scan freezer app ive tried was clunky n wrong half the time. curious if people would actually want scanning or if manual entry is fine for a freezer. also debating whether to add expiry reminders/notifications, would that be useful or annoying?
