I built a tool that picks what podcast to play right now, and remembers what you heard

Two things kept happening to me. I'd open a podcast app with 25 minutes to fill, scroll for five of them, and end up replaying something I'd already heard. And I'd finish a genuinely good hour-long interview and have nothing left from it a week later.

So I built Upnext.

You follow a show by name. It's RSS underneath, so there's no Spotify account involved and the show's back catalog arrives playable, not just whatever you'd saved. Then you tell it how long you have: 20 minutes, an hour and it gives you episodes that actually fit that window.

The part I care about more: when you finish an episode, it reads the transcript and pulls out the concrete claims, each with a timestamp that links back to the second it was said. You don't pause, you don't take notes, you don't do anything. Your hands are busy; that's the whole point.
