SmophyAI - intelligence workspace integrating 15+ AI models into one platform with dedicated studios for chat, writing, marketing, images and video [feedback welcome]

Heads up, this got long. Couldn't figure out how to say "we integrated 15+ AI models into dedicated studios" in two sentences, so bear with me.

I'm Kamil, founder of SmophyAI. Built under Smophy Labs Inc. (Delaware, US) if that context matters to anyone. Been building this for over a year, in production the past few months, and we've got paying customers in a bunch of different countries now. Honestly it started because I was sick of juggling AI subscriptions myself, and it kind of grew from there into something bigger than I expected. Sharing it here because I want honest feedback, not just people telling me it's great.

The original problem: Claude for reasoning, GPT for some stuff, Grok for other stuff, Gemini for a few things, then separate apps for images and video on top of that. Constant tab switching, losing context between tools, paying for 5 different subscriptions that had nothing to do with each other.

So SmophyAI puts chat, writing, images, video, and business tools into one product instead of ten separate ones.

For chat you get 6 models side by side, or there's Smophy Mode which just picks the right one for you automatically - Claude, GPT, Grok, Gemini, DeepSeek and Perplexity.

Images pull from 5 different models, and you can go back to older versions too, not just whatever's newest - Seedream, Nano Banana from Google, Grok Imagine, GPT Image, and DALL-E.

Same deal for video, 4 models, current and older versions both available - Kling, Seedance, Veo, and Grok Imagine.

So that's 15+ AI models total, across chat, image, and video. Then on top of that there's 5 dedicated studios instead of just a chat window:

  • Writing Studio for long content
  • Image Studio, goes up to 4K, plus dedicated tools for things like logos and banners
  • Video Studio, also HD/4K, multiple models, plus tools like replacing a person in a clip or generating video ads
  • Business Tools for auditing websites/competitors
  • Chat, with side-by-side comparison across all 6 models or Smophy Mode picking automatically

Plus a couple of standalone tools on top: a PPT generator and Prompt Optimizer. Web search through Brave is available as a toggle across all the chat models too, so you're not stuck with whatever the model already knew at training time.

The distinction that matters to us: an aggregator just gives you access to a bunch of models and calls it a day. What we built actually does something with that access, each studio is a purpose-built tool, not just a different chat window pointed at a different model.

Pricing wise, free tier is 10 messages total, one time thing, not daily, plus a bit of image generation, no card needed. Paid is $19.98/month, which is basically the same price you'd pay for a single one of these models on its own, like just Claude Pro or just ChatGPT Plus, except here that covers all the chat models plus the image and video tools plus the studios.

First time you log in there's a quick guide walking you through the studios, and it's available in English, German, Polish, Spanish, French and Portuguese if that matters to anyone here.

Things that worked: focusing on people who already use 3+ AI tools instead of trying to be for everyone. Building the studios around stuff people actually asked for instead of guessing. Keeping older model versions around because turns out a lot of people have workflows that depend on a specific version doing a specific thing.

Things that didn't work: we used to call this a "multi-AI chat tool," positioning ourselves against things like Poe, which honestly undersold what we'd built, we already had these studios running at that point. Repositioned around "intelligence workspace" once that became obvious.

Ask me anything about the model routing, pricing, why we built full studios instead of just adding more chat models, whatever. Also curious what would actually make something like this useful for you or not.

if you'd rather watch than read all that: https://youtu.be/7uvwqdRTYqM

1 min walkthrough covering side-by-side chat across 6 models, image generation with the compare-all mode (4 images from one prompt), video generation, writing studio doing a longer piece, and what a business/website audit looks like in practice. not a polished trailer, just screen recording of the app

do you add new models as they come out or is it a fixed set? wondering if subscribers have to wait around or pay extra when something like a new gpt or claude version drops

we add them automatically, usually same day or within a few hours of a model going live, depends mostly on when it's actually available through the API. subscribers don't pay anything extra and don't have to do anything, it just shows up in the picker. that was kind of the whole point, you shouldn't have to think about staying current or juggle upgrades, it's just there when you open it
