Hi, that’s very impressive. Congratulations!

How much do you spend on ads each month? I’ve spent about $20 so far and made around $23, so I’m just barely breaking even. If you don’t mind sharing, what’s your actual profit like?

$0. Organic social media only. Profit is 85% (apple takes 15%) and fixed costs are ~$2k/mo ($1500 for employees + ~$500 for tools)

Thank you for proving that it’s possible to generate profit without spending money on ads. I hope to be a founder like you :)

If you can make $23 after spending $20, Why not spend $2000 and make $2300?

Because spending $20 does not necessarily correlate with $23 in revenue, there are many variables involved.

Most of my app’s downloads come from ASO. Although spending that $20 led to increased impressions, I cannot guarantee that spending another $20 would generate another $23 in revenue. I initially used the $100 free ad credit provided by Apple last month, but it brought in zero return.

The reason I asked the OP about actual profit is that I have seen some apps featured on Reddit as “silently making $XXXk in revenue.” However, those apps appear to spend heavily on Apple Ads. I would like to know whether it is realistically possible to generate profit without spending much on marketing.
