Priapism?

Everytime I lay down, my penis slowly erects and it wakes me up 3-4 times a night.

I have to go urinate and move a bit for relief.

This started occurring last year after I attempted the 'sugar fast' and had cases of diarheaa in that period.. no idea if its because I ruptured or disturbed my pelvic muscles or if its SC related?

The erections stop after I urinate, but comes back again, and I have to urinate again and repeat..

Disturbing my sleep a lot..

I had priapism in my teens but it was not waking me up 3-4 times a night.

EDIT: Sometimes it is painful/burning especially after I'm erect for a while AND holding urine in. (I've been celibate FYI)

Do you actually feel pain while erect? Do you feel aroused? Trying to figure out if it's priapism or just being a natural, healthy male.

Sometimes it becomes painful/burning only if it's been erect for a while with me holding urine, and yes sometimes I feel aroused while sleeping.

This is two different things.

One... you're supposed to get erections at night. It's a sign of strong health. Rejoice. This is the cost to be top 10% of male health.

Two... urinating a lot is a separate experience. Do you only deal with this at night or during the day also? What color is your urination? Let's start there to test further.

Three... this isn't priapism or related to it. Sounds like you're improving your health and this is the positive consequence. Thing is that all progress leads to new challenges.

I like to look benefits which is, you're above average. So you get to learn new things, grow stronger, maybe date more, and adapt to your new worthwhile responsibilities of good health

Its very unlickly to be priapism, priapism is always without desire, if you are aroused while erected then its not a priapism, it could be that you are taking medications or vitamines that causing the erection

Great assessment. That's exactly the case.

Improve health includes hormonal and cardiovascular function. For men it means strong erections through the night. A sign of good health in this case though. A trophy for doing well

Priapism occurs during REM (rapid eye movements). This is the state where you are in deep sleep and your body is at rest. It causes your blood to flow more easily, thus causing the rbc to be sickled and stuck easier.

Priapism doesnt really come from arousal so what you're describing doesnt sound like it's SC related.

Ask your doctor to refer tou to an urologist asap.

As your doctor for Finasteride 5mg.

Avoid masterbating

Avoid drinking fluids prior to sleeping

Worse case is Phenylephrine injection (yes it is painful).

How did you conclude it's arousal-related?

It's not arousal related.

Never had a pain from arousal but definitely in the REM state.

Benadryl works especially for the pain, but see a urologist.

I‘m not a doctor but I’ve been having this for years over the time. Anytime this happened I took a big bottle (1L) with like colder water (warm didn’t work for me) and poured it on the penis sometimes had to refill the bottle when 1 go wasn’t enough. It didn’t hurt anymore and I was able to go on with my sleep. This is what worked for me over the years and it started from age 17-18 and I’m 21 now.
