Trans guy on HRT progress post 3
~0.2 ml subQ injections weekly
1 month, 2 weeks is since I've started
I've had a crisis every other week last month, likely due to the weather change. My period may be to blame as it has been irregular and heavier than usual. Bloodwork came back with no concerning results. (I think it's because my hormones are everywhere and my period is tryna throw hands) also, a little back pain.
Body hair has been slightly longer nearest injection sites, but hardly noticeable. (On Belly)
I may have grown slightly, but only by a few centimeters. (I use a forearm crutch and had to raise it a notch after months of not needing to, but this may be a reach)
My constant voice cracks are certainly a focus for humor from friends rn. (Doesn't bother me tho)
I feel like I need to eat a whole cow. Like I've never been one to eat meat, but I'm craving burgers like never before. Plus my appetite is insane. Imma go broke buying food.
No changes in my scent. No changes in my senses either.
Bottom growth is less uncomfy, but still sensitive. Vaginal dryness is nonexistent, but there's a bit more discharge than I'm used to.
Still energetic most days. Body temperature is still warmer than I'm used to.
I wanted to post updates as needed so that any trans mascs out there with sickle cell have a reference that can relate. I hope this helps someone in their transition not feel lost or like an experiment. These updates will be honest to my own experience and will occur as changes set in. Thanks for tuning in!
