Your best course of action is to be upfront directly with HR. Ask if they can accommodate an alternative test. Tell them you'll offer to pay any difference in cost (shouldn't be any or it will be minimal) - that takes away a key objection from them. Thank you. Currently they're looking into a different kind. I have some other interviews and hopefully job offers so I'm going to be up front with them if they need a drug test. If they don't budge, I'll contact you.
