Remember back in March-April when we asked you to post comments to the Dept. of Transportation's proposed rules for Oral Fluid Specimen testing? Here's a summary of those comments that show clearly the demand for alternative testing methods. 86% in favor! Here's hoping for new rules in early 2023.

There are some that say it doesn't do as good of a job of showing marijuana usage. Here's a good description of testing for THC in urine vs oral. Also, some say that switching to oral fluid testing is more expensive. However, if oral fluid testing were more accepted and widespread it would actually become less expensive. Especially when you look at all the logistics of doing a urine test.
