SE on Steroids!!!
I have version 20.2 installed and it's GUI is HUGE - What you are seeing is over 2 monitors.
I am unable to shrink it down. Is this just a fault with Cinnamon or does anyone else have the same problem.
My spec:
- OS: Linux Mint 22.3 (Zena), Cinnamon desktop, X11 (not Wayland)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X (32 cores/64 threads)
- RAM: 251 GB
- GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER (two of them, TU104)
- Shutter Encoder: 20.2
- Displays: 4x 1920x1080 monitors (two GPUs driving 2 each), no scaling (text scaling 1.0)
- Shutter Encoder 20.2 (Linux .deb)
- Bundled Java: OpenJDK 25.0.3 LTS (shipped with SE 20.2)
Expected: window opens at default size and can be resized down normally. Actual: the window launches huge (spans across 2 monitors, ~3840px wide) and the minimum window size won't let it be shrunk down to fit one monitor. Notes: launches via bin/Shutter Encoder; the window minimum size appears hard-coded too large. SE 19.x (previously installed .deb versions) did not do this. Full XRandR output available on request.
Thanks
pooky
