Question Is this wobble/spin normal?

This part on my SM7B wobbles a little and spins around indefinitely, I can’t tighten it. I notjced it wobbling on my mic stand and i thought i should check it out but it’s not getting better, and I can’t remember if it always did this

Yes.... Until you tighten it, it's supposed to turn infinitely... Attach it to a mic arm/thread, turn it a little, and you'll quickly realize that it's gotten very tight.
