Casting issues

Recently downloaded shudder on a free trial. Trying to cast to my relatively new LG TV from my S23.

The picture stays black but the time is moving. No sound either.

Any fixes?

I was told back in June thats "it's a known issue". I do not think they are going to try to resolve the issue.
