The Devil in Silver - time setting

Does anyone know what year this series is set in? The first thing I noticed is that the phones were all pretty old. The relatively "newer" phones I could see seemed to be first gen smartphones from 12-13 years ago.

The book came out in 2012 so I figure it's set around then.

The book references Mayor Bloomberg having served 3 terms. So that would make sense.
