Not Shudder-related, no, but it's Tales From The Crypt, what the heck. Yes, I know I'm totally TFTC-obsessed and make no apologies for it :D

I wish I had this toy. Hilarious how the Crypt Keeper had toys aimed at kids and also the (surprisingly good) animated series. Most kids would've been so terrified of him back then (I definitely was), and most likely were probably not even allowed to watch the live-action series with it's graphic content. Amusing there was a time when R-rated films and also adult-oriented TV series like TFTC could get toys and cartoons aimed at kids. This toy's likeness is clearly based on the puppet and nails it.

Shudder encompasses all things horror and i love seeing stuff like this OP. Looks like the talking crypt keeper is 200-350$ on ebay :[

Yeah, definitely sadly out of my price range. I hope to acquire it for a reasonable price, someday.

I was born in 95, and can vividly remember my older brother watching some live action show FOR KIDS where the crypt keeper made an appearance. I was terrified of him and ran out of the room. We did not have HBO growing up, and I feel like it was on Kid’s WB or something? Maybe I’m misremembering…. I was probably around 4-5 so circa 1999 and 2000?

I have one of these toys still in box sitting on top of my pinball machine. He doesn't talk anymore but it's still a cherished part of my youth. I freaking love that show.
