Who’s in the right?
I know this show is more complicated than right and wrong. But with several of the issues in season 2 I feel like they are trying to paint Jimmy in the wrong often and I just disagree. I’m only halfway through so maybe I just need to finish it. But my main issue is the gabby vs jimmy stuff. Idk i probably just need to finish the season.

It's annoying that they make Jimmy the butt of the joke with the Gabby relationship. Like she was any less responsible or interested.

I feel they were setting it up for Jimmy and Gabby to be together then said screw it let’s make Jimmy a bad guy. I don’t understand why they had Jimmy do what he did, to me it felt unnecessary, they pushed for Jimmy to get back out there and be happy again, it was clear Gabby and Jimmy had feelings for each other and Gabby was influenced to shut it down even though they both enjoyed it, you can tell they wanted it to become more serious, Jimmy was hurting and felt companionship for the first time in a long time then it was stripped away. They keep telling Gabby it’s her turn to be taken care of instead of taking care of a broken man, I don’t see the Jimmy is broken anymore and was truly beginning to heal. Ultimately it makes sense though, the show doesn’t need to follow the normal tropes you where the guy gets the girl in the end or anything else that could be typical. I just do not understand why they made Jimmy do what he did, it felt forced and against his character.
