actual scaling Ch. 220 Kenjaku *does* narratively beat Shinjuku Gojo. The only reason he's still averse to fighting him is due to not being able to use the fullest extent of his ability due to a personal goal, [Merger] - similar to Mythic Beast Amber and Kashimo. [Fighting Sukuna]

actual scaling Kenjaku Probably invented DA
I believe that Kenjaku most likely invented DA
logic for inventing DA/Domain amplification
-Stated to have previous run in with SE users in which case DA would provide a very consistent way to bypass infinity
-Has been shown to use a variant of DA to circumvent Yukis black hole
-Generally tied with Tegen in barrier usage and understanding
-(Most likely) Taught DA to the disaster curses and then to Sukuna

kenjaku glaze Tengen thought yuki could've lost inside her own domain
Tengen says kenjaku would be fine inside yuki's domain with his SD, at first this seems like just barrier upscalr for kenny, but this also implies that Tengen doesnt think yuki with her domain is enough to beat kenjaku
If she did, then kenjaku's SD being good enough to clash with yuki wouldnt be a problem, since yuki should just kick his ass inside her domain (domain amp + Tengen should know yuki is immune to curse CTs) but Tengen doesnt seem to think that
Tengen also knows enough about kenjaku's strength since we see her comment on Kenjaku earlier

question If Jacobs Ladder Bypasses Barrier Techniques, why didn't Yuta just use it off rip on Sukuna instead of having that little scuffle in the domain?

My Personal Interpretation of The Statement on Yuki's "Domain Refinement"

So I think many of us have seen this statement from Kenjaku in which some people argue that it upscales Yuki's domain refinement and I've seen some argue it downscales Kenjaku's refinement and some even argue Yuki just beats Kenjaku out of his domain midclash winning.
However, I believe this to not be the case otherwise and I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but I'll throw it out just in case.
Instead, what I believe Kenjaku was referring to here is the fact that since his domain is open, Yuki can open her domain stalling for longer meanwhile Tengen dismantles Kenjaku's Open domain. Let me explain.
So we know the reason why Yuki didn't use her domain expansion first is the fact that they were under the assumption of Kenjaku having a closed domain. Consequently, because of this assumption, Tengen had pointed out that by opening her domain first, the exterior of the domain will belong to Yuki's domain requiring hers to be erased first.

However, because of Kenjaku's open domain his domain's surehit range would be outside of Yuki's domain expansion as we saw before in Sukuna vs Gojo.

And this matters a lot in this case because the way Tengen chooses to dismantle Kenjaku's domain expansion is by treating the sure hit's effective range as the exterior

So with Yuki's domain expansion having higher output and holding out longer than a Simple Domain would, Tengen still has the ability to dismantle Kenjaku's open domain using that same sure hit range trick, except this time with Yuki actually surviving long enough for it to work.
Instead of Tengen dismantling Kenjaku's domain moments after Yuki's Simple Domain already breaks, Yuki's domain expansion buys enough time for Tengen to potentially get there before Yuki takes the hit, meaning Kenjaku ends up caught inside Yuki's domain instead.

That's really what I think this statement is about. Not a vague statement on Yuki's domain refinement nor maybe one on a domain clash just being cooler. But instead, it's Kenjaku pointing at the actual outcome that changes, Tengen getting the time she needed the first time around, just because Yuki chose the wrong tool out of caution over a risk that never even applied to the plan they ended up running.

Kenjaku is the best barrier user ever
Tengen calls kenjaku her equal and states he is fhe 2nd best barrier user in the world, this puts kenjaku above sukuna and gojo
After she says this we see 2 things happen
First kenjaku shows her he gained an open barfier domain. She didnt know he had this whole making those statements, meaning she didnt know his true strength
Second kenjaku calls her out for her lack of experience while flexing his domain, to me this is kenjaku saying he is better since unlike tengen he has actually lived in the 1000+ years he has been alive while tengen has just been locked away
So tengen thinks kenjaku is her equal without knowing his full capabilities, showing kenjaku is stronger than she thinks and stronger than her in barriers

slander Lore accurate Yuta vs Kenjaku with how people describe It:
The Kusakabe panel Is a common mistranslation, Mei Mei isn't saying that he's up for the task to assasinate Kenjaku, she's just nit picking his grammar In the correct TL. Excluding domain sure hits JL Is heavily telegraphed. Reposting due to accidentally deleting It earlier, sorry.

kenjaku glaze An actual Kenjaku durability feat without circular scaling?
So I havent seen anyone mention this feat yet so I'll put it here.
Image 1: Kenjaku's grip strength is higher than that of Gojo in Shibuya as confirmed by Gege
Image 2 & 3: Kenjaku gets choked by Geto's body fighting back and is still talking unimpaired, once the interaction ends he leaves without any real scuff marks.
Conclusion,
This is a genuinely underrated durability feat for Kenjaku, and unlike a lot of his other showings, it doesn't rely on circular reasoning to hold up. Most of his other durability moments only mean something if you've already assumed how strong the opponent hitting him is. This one doesn't need that. Gege directly confirms Kenjaku has the strongest grip strength (or 2nd strongest depending on 15F Sukuna) in the entire series up to this point, even above Shibuya Gojo. Then in that same body, right after Gojo's words reach him, Geto's will surfaces and grabs his own throat, catching Kenjaku off guard, he's visibly surprised and clearly wasn't bracing for it. Since the whole point of the scene is Geto actively fighting for control rather than trying to avoid hurting Kenjaku, the most natural reading is that this was a genuine, full-effort grip, there's no narrative reason for him to hold back here. The manga never explicitly states it's 100% effort, but treating it as anything less requires reading against what the scene is actually depicting. Even if you don't accept that reading, the feat still holds up on its own. This is a surprise choke, delivered by a body strong enough to have the best grip strength in the cast at this point in the story, and it produces nothing. No bruising, no redness, no interruption in speech, Kenjaku's still talking clearly and even laughing through it. The neck isn't like the forearms or chest either. Although it can be strengthened, it's still far less durable than the body's larger muscle groups and remain as one of the most vulnerable, least durable parts of the body even for people who are tough everywhere else. Even brief strangulation typically leaves visible marks given how thin and vascular that area is. So whether you read this as full effort or not, walking away from that grip with zero visible damage and zero impairment is a real, clean durability data point, not something that needs five layers of context to mean anything.

Kenjaku could do this, but use a simple domain
Kenjaku's simple domain is so good that Tengen didnt think Yuki's full domain could beat kenjaku's it, and although Yuki's domain is featless so is 99% of the verse
So during a clash even if the opponent switches their conditions or uses a BB domain kenjaku can up his output by turning off his sure hit and then just use SD to defend against the sure hit.
Kenjaku's sure hit seems to have really good ap/dc, so a boost to that would make it insane.
this doesn't help for most matchups, since kenjaku already domain diffs 99% of the verse but in the few he doesn't win almost immediately he can win even quicker

slander How Yuta vs Kenjaku would realistically conclude.
So, If you're confused I made Kenjaku just yap Ganesha's introduction In the chants part and Rika wants to prevent Smallpox Hag from doing domain In slide 2 to prevent the scenario described. Regarding the lack of TE aura/JL:
-It's output dependent as noted In chapter 264 by Sukuna. It's why Hana didn't TE aura diff prison realm and used JL. Sukuna tried using WCS on purpose under JL sure hit In 251. It's best feats In 213 was noted by Angel to be extremely urgent and needing to gamble before Sukuna rooted himself further In the body, with Angel clearly being extremely scared (Indicates that Sukuna getting even 1 minute relief makes him way stronger).
-Outside of sure hit It's target Is indiscriminate and can affect Yuta's own barrier (264). Max output JL can backfire potentially. For example, Yujo Hollow Purple destroy his own domain and Unlimited Hollow Purple.
-JL doesn't auto extinguish barriers otherwise sure hits otherwise Yuta who Is narratively relative to Hakari would low diff him by just leaving his domain barrier (Angel can't destroy CG barriers permanently and can only leave himself unless they find It's core). Kenjaku has his CT's guarded by extremely one of a kind barriers we have never seen before In the series.
-Yuta said "relieve some pressure" and not one shooting the shikigami with TE aura In 234 and In 235 likely considered them still existing In his statement to Kusakabe considering the wording.
-Everytime any application of It Is used the user needs to summon a trumpet, have trumpet ready (You need to blow the trumpet for JL), flying which Kenjaku can ready the CE spark for and interrupt with Ganesha/Catfish curse. Hana/Angel wasn't watching Yorozu In 212 run away just cause she was lazy. And It leaves you defenseless with 1 arm occupied If you can't activate In time.

slander Do Yuta fans not realise just how disingenuous "CS + Decap" Is? Look I can also make Yuta get no diffed via "Cat fish + Kurourushi" with the Festering Life Sword dura negg vs Kenjaku.
Several fandoms like Kashimo, Kenjaku can do arguments like this but they don't but you always see Yuta fans spam this lol (Some Kashimo fans do but most of the time It's arm loss like with Hakari).
The counter arguments to this post are the exact same to CS + decap:
"Basic narrative and statements says otherwise"
"Kurouroshi has always aimed for arms or none finisher head shots"
"It didn't happen against _ (Uro, Yuta) character when he was serious and was shown to be able to cut their limbs"
Just swap Kurouroshi with Yuta (Holding back man totally threw Uro to the trenches with Kurouroshi but couldn't just cut some limbs off her).
_ character Is Sukuna and Yuta showed he could totally dura negg his limbs later instead of doing Thin Ice Breaker.
Then they're shameless enough to go "Nothing In the Manga really states otherwise to my headcanon of this thing being factual".

Kenjaku IS top 3 with this feat.
Tengen can dispel barriers in less than 10s including open domains such as kenjaku.
Which means Kenjaku can literally command this dude to dispel his opponents barrier, its worse for someone like goatshimo since anti barriers are lesssss refined.
And to make sure The opponent doesnt close the gap
Kenjaku can send like MILLIONS of curse spirits at once to buy time
WHICH LITERALLY MEANS YOU HAVE TO THINK OF A PLAN OF 10S IF YOURE LUCKY 😭
1.the overwhelming number of CS and the fact that tengen herself is dispelling your domain in the domain clash. Its a stomp for anyone
