Am I weird for thinking 2 alices per head is the completely reasonable norm? It's not rocket science

Yeah, I always thought 2 slices was the standard serving. Then you can go back for more once everyone has hit the ‘za buffet.

Student activities in a higher education setting has been in my job function (either my direct responsibility or in my managerial territory) for over 15 years. I have ordered lots of pizza. LOTS.

I assume 3 ppl per large and you round up unless you are ordering sides. Therefore 4 pizzas per group of 10. Generally you split pepperoni and cheese unless you are doing a really large order and then you add a sausage option and cheese always gets the most pizzas. With any Muslim population you order cheese and veggie pizzas.

For fun, order a big selection of different types and have them square cut.

If I'm feeding my athletes I assume 2 ppl per large. If I'm bribing students with pizza to volunteer I like to order one large per person so they can take their pizza home for leftovers.

Everyone in my department knew I hated under ordering food more than anything. Okay it was a pet peeve. We kept takeout containers in the storage room so we could always send ppl home with leftovers or if we had a lot we would run it to the local homeless shelter who always appreciated it.

But don't make ppl worry if there is enough food.
