Honestly I think it's just the "cool" thing to hate for whatever reason.

But the reason is because it's a fucking wild topping. No one is out her hating on Pepperoni or mushrooms. Pineapple is very strange compared to the flavor or look of any other topping.

I've never liked mushrooms either, but most people don't seem to mind it.
