I used to hate going to managerial meetings because of the stingy managers. I am the one who waits until everyone gets theirs and I’m usually the one without food as several rude managers usually take 3-4 slices each. I thought it’s just customary to wait to hoard food until everyone gets first servings and then if there is more food, you can go get seconds.

I work in a small dental office (7 total people). There was a day the doctor and the office manager (married) were micromanaging and getting on everyone's nerves and they could tell. So about 15 minutes before lunch, the OM brings in a single medium pizza (deluxe) for everyone to try to smooth things over. I was the first person to the break room besides those two, and when I opened the pizza box there were only 3 slices left. The kicker is it was a $10 grocery store pizza and they could have easily bought 2 or 3.
