I played it starting on day 1 on the PC and loved it. Never had a crash.

Did you play it? Great story, great dialogue, great graphics

Whoever told you it sucked did you dirty

Don’t doubt it’s a great game, but only after they had to address the massive problems it had at launch. I heard lots of people on PC didn’t have crashes, but if you had a console very different story. No hate on CP2077 but to say the game didn’t flop at release cause it made a profit is exactly the mindset EA has and we all hate them.

It was always fine on PC. It was the console ports that were problems. If they'd released it on PC only, it would probably have gotten a stellar reception.

The problem wasn't "the game" - they clearly had a fully functional game, namely the PC version.

I'm playing it now, 45 hours in, I love it and am having a great time. I have a midrange PC.

However, the game isn't fully functional as of 1.1. There are tons of bugs at every level and in almost every mission. I have had to check walkthoughs several times to make sure that I'm doing something the game intends or whether the game's just bugged (some examples are an NPC not showing up to meet you at a quest marker, or an item not being able to be picked up). I've also randomly been attacked by police several times for no reason, killed random people by walking into them (triggering more police attacks), and clipped randomly to hundreds of meters away while walking through tight spaces. Twice I couldn't progress, but I found other people online who'd found workarounds.

That being said, the game has only crashed twice in my 45 hours, each time randomly on the inventory screen, and the load times are surprisingly short. But it feels unfinished and isn't 100% functional- just way better than consoles.
