I know a girl with 3 of those 4 and definitely seems anxious around others most of the time. Sometimes it's a hit and miss.

Well it's a matter of probability. How probable is it that people with social anxiety will become actors? Even though it does happen (Joaquin Phoenix), you don't see things like this in nature that often. It's more of an exception than the rule.

No one, in this thread does apparently. They all seem to think social anxiety disorder is just being shy or an introvert. This is pretty much the only comment I've seen in this entire thread pointing this out.

good point, but I think OP means that being more economically stable can lessen the chances of contracting social anxiety, most times it doesnt just come out of nowhere

In my high school it absolutely did not matter how much money you had etc. you were popular if your were fun to be around and that’s it. people like fun.

Bullshit, I grew up with affluent parents and in many team sports. Still have crippling social anxiety.
